How water changes the hair

Water softens hair and adds weight to each strand. Dry hair stands more upright on its own, which allows the ceramic blade and the comb guards at 3, 6, 9 or 12 mm to gather it in a predictable line. Wet hair lies flatter against the skin and sticks to nearby surfaces. You might prefer the small face head or the wider body head depending on the moisture level.

What the IPX7 rating means

Our trimmer carries an IPX7 waterproof rating. This means the housing prevents water ingress when submerged up to one meter deep for thirty minutes. You can hold the running tool directly under the shower stream or rinse the heads under a running tap without damaging the internal motor. The cordless USB handle remains sealed against splashes throughout use.

Managing cleanup after each session

Trimming in the shower washes cut pieces straight down the drain as you go. Dry trimming leaves loose clippings on dry skin or on the floor, which requires a quick sweep or a dry towel. When finished, both ceramic heads detach from the handle so you can rinse stray strands out of the comb teeth and blade tracks beneath the tap.

Switching between the two heads

Two interchangeable heads click onto the single handle. The wider ceramic head handles larger body areas, while the small head fits tighter contours around the face or bikini line. Both heads work equally well under running water or over a dry sink. You can swap them mid-routine regardless of whether the tool is wet or dry.

Drying and charging the tool

Before plugging the USB cable into the port, the handle must be completely dry. Shake off excess moisture after a shower session and leave the unit on a flat surface to air dry.
