Charging, packing and the five minute top-up
Here is how long a five minute top-up runs, what a full USB charge covers, and how to pack the waterproof handle, ceramic heads and guards for a trip away.
The five minute top-up
Plugging the handle in for five minutes gives enough power for one quick trim. You do not need to wait for a full battery when time is short before heading out. That brief window on the USB cable supplies the motor for a single run with either the body head or the smaller face head attached.
Reaching a full battery
About an hour on a USB cable charges the battery from empty to full. That single hour gives around eighty minutes of cordless running time. The handle runs entirely without a cord, so you keep full movement in the shower or at the mirror once you unplug it from the cable.
Water and wet trimming
Our trimmer has an IPX7 waterproof rating, so it functions in wet areas or dry on bare skin. You can take the cordless tool directly into the shower and rinse the ceramic heads under running tap water after you finish. Water will not pass into the sealed body during a regular rinse.
Packing the heads and comb guards
Two ceramic heads swap onto the single handle: a wider head for body areas and a smaller head for facial hair. Two comb guards snap over the blades to set four trimming lengths at 3, 6, 9 and 12 mm. Packing both attachments and both guards keeps all four cutting lengths available anywhere you go.
Travelling with the four body colours
Every BYART trimmer shares the same internal battery and motor across all four shell colours: Voyager Violet, Nebula Blue, Cosmic Rose and Solstice Gold. If you share a paired set from one of the two-pack boxes, both tools use the exact same USB cable type to charge away from home.
